FAQ to dental treatments and dental prostheses abroad
Good services and quality do not come naturally – independently of the place. The dental clinic guarantees you they use leading edge technology and equipment only and work with the greatest possible care. They give you a five-year guarantee on all technical services (implants, veneers, inlays, crowns) plus a dental passport.
Within five years of the treatment at the clinic you can always turn to the clinic and take advantage of the five-year guarantee on all technical services. All of these secondary treatments will be free of charge there.
After these five years as well as before, you may also turn to every independent dentist. All treatments with an independent dentist have to be settled directly with the dentist.
If a patient is missing one or more teeth, modern dentistry prefers implants made of titanium. These take over the function of the missing tooth root. Like this the original function of the tooth as well as the aesthetic aspect can be preserved best. The teeth that surround the missing tooth are not ground and provided with a bridge as usual, but the valuable tooth substance is maintained. Bone atrophies due to lacking strain on the jaws are thus avoided. Learn more about our implants here.
You can set implants into any fully grown jaw. However, it is always the dentist who decides, after a thorough evaluation of the situation, whether or not to apply an implant. The remaining bone substance, the condition of the remaining teeth and other factors decide about what measure has to be taken.
After a thorough examination the dentist determines what kind of an implant is best used for you. In some cases the crown and implant may be set in on the same day. The new tooth is then immediately ready for use. In other cases one may have to wait two to six months for the implant to merge with the jawbone. At the end of this process the actual prosthesis is installed.
If an implant is installed correctly there are no side effects to be expected. The material used is antiallergic and bio compatible. Due to the merging of the implants with the jawbone, implants can last for a lifetime, if given the right care.
After a prior consultation of your doctor the implants can be inserted without any concerns.
Veneers are bonded with the teeth in a special process that makes both elements one unit which is as durable as the original tooth. Normally the breaking or loosening of a veneer can be excluded.
